Und wieder der nächste Fall, wo man sich fragt: Wo war der sog. "Heilige Geist" der "Zeugnis" ablegt? Jedenfalls nicht bei den Bischöfen und Führern unter den Mormonen.
Salt Lake Tribune vom gestrigen Tag. HLT-Lehrer bekennt sich schuldig des sexuellen MiÃbrauchs (wieder ein Fummler). Bekannt wurde der MiÃbrauch von 21 Opfern im Alter von 12-14 Jahren erst nach vielen Jahren, nachdem zwei Opfer, mittlerweile Mitte Zwanzig ihren kirchlichen Führern davon berichteten. Also ca. 10 (!!!) Jahre danach. Einzig postive Nachricht: In diesem Fall informierten die Bischöfe die Polizei. Langsam lernen sie dazu.

"Former Teacher Pleads Guilty to Sex Abuse

THE SALT LAKE TRIBUNEA 45-year-old former teacher pleaded guilty Monday to sexually abusing boys he met at school or through city recreation programs.
American Fork resident and former physical education instructor Morris Brent Whitlock worked for almost 23 years at Shelley Elementary School in the Alpine School District until he resigned Feb. 16. He taught fourth, fifth and sixth grades.
Officers interviewed 21 victims who had been between 12 and 14 years old at the time of the fondling incidents that date back to 1978, said American Fork police Sgt. Gregg Ludlow. The assaults happened at the city recreation center or at Whitlock’s home.
The two-month investigation started when two of the victims, who are now in their mid-20s, told their ecclesiastical leaders about the assaults, Ludlow said. The leaders, both bishops in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in turn reported the incidents to police ..."Urteil wird zum 18.06. erwartet.
